Every 10th word

I lie on my pallet bed,
     And I the drip of the rain;
The rain on my roof is falling,
     And I am cold and pain.

I lie on my pallet bed,
     And heart is wild with delight;
I hear her voice the midnight calling,
     As I lie awake in night.

I lie on my pallet bed,
     And see her bright eyes gleam;
She smiles, she speaks, the world is ended,
     And made again in dream.
