Reconstruct the poem by dragging each line into its correct position. Your goal is to reassemble the original poem as accurately as possible. You can also print out the jumbled poem to cut up and reassemble in the classroom. Either way, take your time, enjoy the process, and discover how the poet's words come together to create something truly beautiful.

No more Jekyll and Hyde, no more screeching calls,
Now it's my turn, to choose my own way,
Just me and my dreams, breaking down walls.
Got my man by my side, he's my rock and my guide,
Redundancy payment, oh, what a prize.
Redundancy's here, and I feel so free,
Eighteen years, at my desk every day,
But sometimes she turned into a vulture wild.
To passions ignited, no more dread.
A bright new future, starting today.
Juggling the money, keeping books tight,
Gave it my all, in that school life.
A weight off my shoulders, no more anxiety.
Gonna find my passion, new role, new game.
Handled angry parents, dealt with all the mess,
Cleaning up sick, late into the night.
Boss was a bluetit, oh so sweet and mild,
With love and support, I'll find my way,
With his love, I know I'll decide.
Kept the wheels turning, in my own little way.
Dealt with the chaos, smiled through the strife,
But now I've got sunshine, instead of the rain.
The school's behind me, memories remain,
A bright new chapter, starting today.
I saw it coming, wasn't a surprise,
Now I've got time, summer's calling my name,
So here's to freedom, to new days ahead,
From toddlers to teens, gave it my best.
