Antimatter resembles ordinary matter while carrying reversed electrical charges and related quantum properties. In poetry, antimatter can embody an impossible counterpart: a lost self, a negative twin, or an intimacy so absolute it destroys both participants. The term lends cosmic scale to themes of opposition, longing, fusion, and the dangerous desire to erase distance.
